Specifically, students will be able to use them throughout the writing process, even provide peer feedback using available online tools. These will also help provide students with online ACT practice, as well as individualized lessons to support the needs of each student. During students’ senior year they will use these to create an online notebook for their senior project, which is more aligned with current college and career expectations. PHILIP BRUCE
The purchase of the ASUS ROG Strix G Flagship Gaming Laptop and the Wireless Mouse & Keyboard, plus the other accessories, has really enabled me to provide quality support to all of my students who are pursuing Computer Science courses, including Game Design. Being able to have a device that can go home AND that can handle all of the various programs that my students are using definitely makes a difference. Thank you all so much!

YOUTH SERVICE CENTER
The Spencer County Youth Service Center (YSC) sincerely appreciates the support of the Spencer County Educational Foundation (SCEF) and the laptop donations to our middle school and high school centers! The YSC addresses the needs of students and families through a variety of programs and services. Although our centers are located in the schools, we often meet with families, host events, and collaborate with other community programs to ensure needs are addressed. These new laptops have enabled us to continue to be connected while working from different spaces in the schools during Covid, and at other locations in the community. We were so excited to receive the SCEF Technology Grant and want to express our sincere gratitude!
